2025 Jean-Pierre Habicht Lifetime Achievements in Global Nutrition Award Lecture: Early Nutrition and Development - Interconnected Path to Children Thriving

At NUTRITION 2025, ASN’s annual flagship meeting, this special lecture was featured as the 2025 Jean-Pierre Habicht Lifetime Achievements in Global Nutrition Award Lecture. A highlight of the meeting, the 2025 award recipient Dr. Maureen Black of the University of Maryland School of Medicine addressed the following:

  • Reviewed theories related to early childhood development and progression over time
  • Discussed measurement of childhood growth variables and relationship to overall health
  • Explored future challenges and opportunities in field of global nutrition
