RxNutrition: Metabolic Syndrome in Adults

Metabolic syndrome is a cluster of risk factors affecting nearly 55% of adults aged 60 and older in the U.S. that can lead to heart disease, diabetes, stroke, liver disease, some forms of cancer, and other health problems. In this learning module, we will provide you with the skills and resources to diagnose and manage your patients that are at risk for metabolic syndrome.

This module assists providers in diagnosing and managing patients at risk for metabolic syndrome.

To receive a certificate, learners must complete the interactive case study; review the clinical guidelines, references and resources; pass the post-test assessment; and complete an evaluation survey.
