How to Maximize Your LinkedIn for Industry Career Opportunities (Recording)

This webinar recording is free to non-members through May 22, 2024 and free to ASN members at all times!

Hosted by ASN's Early Career Nutrition Interest Group (ECN)

There is an increasing number of graduate students and post-docs who have interest in pursuing non-academic careers, such as the industry path. However, many prospective industry applicants lack education/mentorship (whether formal or informal) on how to represent themselves best for industry jobs. One key aspect to landing an industry job is utilizing and maximizing LinkedIn to its full potential. Two speakers will educate prospective industry applicants on how to utilize LinkedIn successfully: Lauren Brink, PhD, RDN is a nutrition manager who has successfully moved from academia to industry (Reckitt) and Donald Pawlik is a technical recruiter for a Fortune 250 food company (General Mills). Attendees will also be given the opportunity to ask questions for the speakers.
