Cultivating Resiliency and a Growth Mindset in Early Career Nutrition Professionals

Explore strategies to cultivate resiliency and foster a growth mindset in the nutrition sciences! This session features Leah Evert, registered dietitian and ACSM certified exercise physiologist, stage four cancer survivor, and author of Nourishing Resilience. Leah has worked with multiple global organizations on their employee health and wellness strategy and is the co-founder of The Willow Foundation, which provides funding to researchers that strive to find a connection between diet, exercise, and mindset and improved outcomes for late-stage cancer patients. Joining Leah for a panel discussion include ASN Vice President Elect Naima Moustaid-Moussa, PhD and Liliana Aguayo, PhD, MPH, Research Assistant Professor, Emory University. This activity was organized by ASN's Early Career Nutrition (ECN) Interest Group.
