This Sponsored Satellite Program was originally presented at NUTRITION 2024, ASN's flagship meeting which was held June 29 to July 2, 2024 in Chicago, IL.
In this session, speakers will discuss the potential role of multivitamin-multimineral supplementation, the most commonly used dietary supplements in the United States, in the context of a healthy diet and its effects on healthy aging outcomes, as well as current and future considerations for policy and public health recommendations. A panel discussion will conclude the session focused on what future research may be needed to clarify the health effects of a multivitamin and any implications on future clinical guidelines.
