Progress Made One Year After the White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health

October 31, 2023

With the one-year anniversary of the White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health approaching on September 28th, this webinar will reflect on progress to date towards achieving the goals of the conference, to end hunger and increase healthy eating by 2030 so that fewer Americans have diet-related diseases. The webinar will focus on Pillar 5 of the conference: Nutrition and Food Security Research, in particular. Since the conference, companies and organizations in the private and public sectors have made public commitments to reduce hunger and diet-related diseases in many different ways, and federal agencies have responded with commitments, revised policies, and funding opportunities of their own. Speakers will explore research advances made in the nutrition and food security space since the conference, as well as open funding opportunities to help support further research in this important area.
