Prioritizing Nutrition Worldwide: Learning from Exemplar Countries

Malnutrition presents threats to human health and has a significant global burden. Studying positive outliers in reducing malnutrition provides an evidence-based perspective on potential interventions. This session will share key takeaways from countries that showed exemplary progress in reducing stunting and anemia among women of reproductive age, as well as learnings from countries that did not show significant progress. Attendees will learn about the Exemplars in Global Health research methodology which includes a mixed methods approach with quantitative and qualitative components.
