Transforming Nutrition Education Across the Medical Training Continuum (NUTRITION 2026 On Demand Collection)

This course is included in the NUTRITION 2026 On Demand Collection.

Despite its central role in preventing and managing disease, nutrition education remains underrepresented across medical training. With the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services launching new efforts to expand nutrition education in medical schools, the time is ripe for action. This session highlights innovative approaches spanning undergraduate, graduate, and continuing medical education. We will also explore strategies to scale and sustain these efforts nationally, offering practical insights and a forward-looking vision for integrating nutrition into medical education and practice.

Originally presented at NUTRITION 2026, ASN's flagship meeting which was held July 25-28 in National Harbor, MD
