Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly reshaping how scientific research is conducted. This webinar introduces early career nutrition researchers to the evolution of AI technologies, their potential applications across the research process, and emerging concerns related to environmental sustainability. Speakers will also discuss ethical considerations, including bias, transparency, and equity, to help researchers use AI responsibly in nutrition and dietetics research.

- Describe the evolution of artificial intelligence technologies and explain key considerations related to the environmental sustainability of large-scale AI systems
- Identify practical applications of AI tools that can support different stages of the nutrition research process, including literature review, data analysis, and research communication
- Recognize ethical considerations related to the use of AI in research, including issues of bias, transparency, authorship, equity, and responsible use of AI-generated outputs
